Our work

We use information and data from partners, in addition to feedback from local communities gained from the Community Safety Partnership's annual consultation event and other local surveys and consultations to help determine our priorities and work.

Key areas of our work include:

We recognise Domestic Abuse as a problem that destroys the lives of victims and their families. In Dudley we are committed to working in partnership to prioritise our actions in respect of prevention and early intervention, protection, justice and support for victims. We will continue to identify vulnerable and repeat victims of crime, working together to support victims and tackle perpetrators.

Drug Misuse leads to criminality and impacts on individuals, families and communities. We will work to tackle the criminality of illegal drugs with enforcement activity combined with engaging and supporting drug misusing offenders into treatment at an early opportunity.

We will work together to tackle this and other Anti Social issues within the community, targeting problems such as abusive neighbours, harassment, vandalism and graffiti. We will use our police and partner powers to undertake effective enforcement activity ensuing communities become stronger and safer.

Hate crime is an abhorrent crime and has negative impact on both individuals and communities. We aim to encourage reporting in a supportive and confidential manner, supporting victims and tackling offenders. Our partnership approach to this will educate, raise awareness and increase confidence in reporting.
