Dudley residents have their say

Dudley borough residents who took part in a community safety consultation highlighted the importance of partners and communities working together and communicating better.

 

The Dudley: have your say event, organised by safe & sound, Dudley’s community safety partnership, gave local people a chance to talk about safety issues through a range of workshops and questions.

 

The need for agencies and communities to work together to create a safer environment was raised, along with a call for more communication between partners and with the public.

 

Other issues raised at the event and through an online survey, included substance misuse, anti-social behaviour, fraud and bogus callers and the importance of engaging more with young people.

 

The partnership will use the feedback collected to inform their strategic assessment process which determines their priorities for the coming year.
